Internal Newsletters
Many companies continue to publish staff newsletters, even though they often make their way to the blue box before they are even read. It's always a good idea to review the mandate of the company newsletter on a regular basis.
Do you have a committee in place to help gauge the effectiveness of the newsletter? Do you invite comments? Is the manner in which it's produced relevant and timely? People are busy these days and don't have a lot of time, so be sure the content is short and easy to read. An online version or an e-letter that provides links to pages with more information might be more appropriate. Offer prizes to get people to provide feedback.
